Peter Leabo

Welcome to Peter Leabo Photography. Please browse the galleries and enjoy! Keep checking back as I rotate galleries and add new photos regularly!

With a professional photography career spanning decades, I try to capture a unique and fresh perspective in all my images ... to show people things or personalities they wouldn't otherwise see.  I am available for all of your editorial, sports, corporate, event, portrait, and photography education needs. Please see my Photography Services page for more details and contact information.

I started shooting in the 6th grade. By the time I was in high school, I knew it would be a career. I put myself through college working as a photographer for a local daily newspaper and left college to become a staff photographer and a photo editor with the Associated Press. After 15 years at the AP covering Olympics, Super Bowls, World Series, earthquakes, wars, and various other major events around the world -- and a couple of careers in between -- I can once again truly enjoy the artistic pleasure of photography.

Most of my work in this gallery is available for sale, either in print form, digital download, or as licensed images. Photos on my site have been edited for best quality and composition. If you have need for a different crop format or treatment, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Thank you for taking the time to visit and browse my work. Please leave your feedback about my work or this gallery below. Thanks!

Great gallery of work Pete! I love the world of forms and colors that you see and share through that lens. I will keep checking back (to choose just that right photo for my wall!)

Pete - I loved your weathered wood print I just saw on FB. Very graphic; not much color. Do you have more like it? A series perhaps? In the comments below, someone mentions a B&W driftwood photo. We are thinking about building a lake house this fall and I would love to have some of your photos to decorate with. What sizes do the prints come in?

We really enjoyed your pictures, Pete. The images and portraits are beautiful. And Erica is very photogenic. Cesar Flores

Pete: Found the gallery by accident. Unbelieveable work if I hadn't had the pleasure of working with you. You have an eye that is unequalled.

How nice to revisit your photography. Somewhere I still have the B&W driftwood photo you framed and gave to my parents.

Pete - I wish I was on the west coast to learn from a Great Master. Fabulous Pictures.
